The Prince has banished Romeo from Verona after he had shot Tybalt. Romeo then runs away to Friar Lawrence to discuss about his banishment and the fight. Friar Lawrence came up with a plan to bypass his banishment.
QUOTE: “Now I have stained the childhood of our joy.” Said by Romeo. Romeo is trying to say that he has ruined his childhood joy with Juliet because he has been banished from Verona.
